This tool was developed by Doria Shi, RCIC, of Zing Immigration Consultancy Inc. It is designed to help applicants review their wage positioning and prepare ahead as Express Entry reform and potential CRS changes continue to develop in 2026.

Methodology & Data Sources
This dashboard uses Statistics Canada's 2025 national median hourly wage benchmark of C$30.77/hr and Government of Canada / Job Bank 2025 Canada-wide NOC wage data.
To keep the tool focused, it displays only NOCs at or above 1.3x the national median wage, grouped into 1.3x, 1.5x, and 2.0x ranges. NOCs between 1.0x and 1.3x the median are not included.
Median wage refers to the midpoint wage, not the average wage: half of the population has a higher wage and half has a lower wage.
Rows marked as Annual converted are based on annual median wage data published by Job Bank. For these 7 NOCs, the dashboard estimates an hourly value using annual wage / 52 weeks / 30 hours for comparison only. This estimated value is not an official Job Bank hourly wage.
